090907: "The Biggest Loser" Couple Engaged

Since its debut on NBC in 2004, several contestants on “The Biggest Loser” have gone on to win at the game of love. Former pound-dropping participants Rasha Spindel and Edwin Chapman exchanged vows at the Wai’oli Tea Room in Manoa Valley, Honolulu, Hawaii in January 2006 and Matt Hoover, the season two victor of the series, said “I do” to fellow reality TV personality Suzy Preston during a beachside ceremony in Jamaica in September 2006, and soon it will be season three contestant Amy Hildreth’s turn to walk down the aisle. In the presence of a live TV audience, Ms. Hildreth stepped on to a scale during the TV program’s follow up show, “The Biggest Loser: Where Are They Now?,” assuming her weight would be displayed. Instead, the scale flashed a message, “Amy, I love you,” and to the delight of onlookers, fellow third season cast mate Marty Wolff knelt on one knee and presented his bride-to-be with an engagement ring, reports Reality TV World. The couple have not announced a date for the upcoming wedding.
