81207: Wedding of NHL Hockey Player

As agile on the dance floor as they are on the ice, U.S. women's Olympic ice hockey team member Krissy Wendell and NHL player John Pohl swayed to the sounds of the Clint Black tune "Easy for Me to Say" during their hotel reception on August 11, 2007, which took place after an afternoon wedding ceremony held at the Rose Hill Alliance Church in Roseville, Minnesota. According to People Magazine, the four-foot long train of the bride's white Mori Lee gown gently brushed the aisle runner as she walked toward the same altar where her parents had said "I do" years before-- an altar where her soon-to-be husband, the center for the Toronto Maple Leafs, stood in a black Ralph Lauren tuxedo, waiting to make her his wife. The couple, engaged since Christmas Eve 2006, pledged their devotion in the presence of 200 witnesses.
