080407: Usher's Atlanta Wedding

After taking a step back from the pressure of their scheduled July 28,2007 walk down the aisle at the Hamptons home of record executive Antonio "L.A." Reid, Grammy Award winner Usher and Tameka Foster decided that an intimate "I do" was more to their liking, and on August 3, 2007 the parents-to-be pledged their devotion at the office of the singer's attorney in Atlanta, Georgia. According to The Chicago Sun-Times, the wedding has seemingly built a bridge between the couple and the groom's mother, Jonetta Patton, who attended the nuptials despite reports of her misgivings regarding the union.

August 8, 2007 update: According to People Magazine, Usher's mother did not attend the Atlanta nuptials.
