72607: Comedian Steve Martin Engaged

Funnyman Steve Martin, who has made movie audiences laugh over the past four decades in such comedic tour de forces as "The Jerk" and "Roxanne," is serious about his love of the past six years, US Vogue journalist Anne Stringfield. The New York Daily News reported that the actor, who played the "Father of the Bride" in a 1991 remake of the Spencer Tracy comedy classic, will step into the role of real-life groom before the end of the calendar year.
