72507: Jessica Harp of The Wreckers Engaged

Fans of country/folk duo The Wreckers who were lucky enough to get tickets to their performance at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City on July 23, 2007 had plenty to cheer about as they enjoyed an evening of toe-tapping tunes and happy news. During their set, co-vocalist Michelle Branch confided to the audience that Jessica Harp, the other half of the chart-topping twosome, is planning to harmonize for the rest of her days with the band's fiddle player, Jason Mowery. The bride-to-be, whose golden tones helped to launch the single "Leave the Pieces" to number one, will be following in the footsteps of her onstage partner, who married the band's bass player, Teddy Landau, in May 2004. According to web site Country Weekly, a wedding date was not made public.

Considering he's still technically married to his wife, who just had a baby last year - I find it sad. Guess they're called "The Wreckers" for a reason.

Her bandmate had nothing to do with it. the only homewrecker is Jessica. That's gross.

We don't know the circumstance- s who are we to judge? Things like this happen everyday- you just don't hear about it- because they aren't IN THE SPOTLIGHT. I doubt very much it was a planned thing-and it certainly doesn't diminish the extreme talent of either of these people as musicians.

Hopefully the man will do right by his child- and the best that he can for his ex wife. Everyone will move on- it's called life.
