62907: Donny Osmond Visits South Wales

The roots of ‘70 pop idol Donny Osmond’s family tree reach as far back as the mid 16th century in South Wales, and the singer had the chance to walk in the footsteps of his forefathers during his recent trip to the town of Merthyr Tydfil. Mixing business with pleasure, the multi-talented entertainer, along with his wife Debbie and several of their children, toured the Joseph Parry Museum, housed inside the famous Welsh composer’s Merthyr Tydfil abode, before stepping onstage at Cyfarthfa Castle, an 18th century edifice which can be viewed by the public daily from April through September, and six days a week from October through March.
