52607: Lisa Ling's L.A. Wedding

Lisa Ling, the host of "National Geographic Explorer," embarked on the adventure of a lifetime when she said "I do" to radiation oncologist Paul Song on May 26, 2007. According to People magazine, "Numb3rs" star Diane Farr, who tied the knot in June 2006, and Kelly Hu ("The Scorpion King") were among the 550 guests who gathered at Union Station, a 1930's Los Angeles landmark seen on the silver screen in "Blade Runner" and "Bugsy," to witness the bride walk down the aisle in a crimson creation by New York-based designer Vivienne Tam. The couple, who became engaged over the Christmas 2006 holidays during a romantic dinner at Chicago's Charlie Trotter's restaurant, enjoyed a wedding filled with Asian accents, which will be featured in an upcoming issue of In Style Magazine, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

The bride was ravishing in a Vivian Tam creation that was insured for six figures!! Lisa was gorgeous ~ the look(s) of love definitely bounced back and forth between bride and groom...The groom wore a tux during the wedding and looked like a movie star. During the reception, he changed into Korean garb...got to love the respect for tradition. The reception was the most atypical imaginable...Union Station looked like a 5 star nightclub with all the "beautiful people" on the dimly lit dance floor. Asian food was plentiful and the ticket counters served as bar stations. No shortage of the bubbly... Lisa dressed in a beautiful orange and yellow Korean Hanbok for the brunch held the morning after the wedding. A fine time was had by all!!
