The Ceremony: As the sun began its descent on this island
paradise, the bride's cousin Angela, her sister Beyonce, and
Kelly Rowland of the group Destiny's Child preceded Solange
Knowles down the aisle. As the bridesmaid's bouquets had failed
to arrive on time, the bride's mother devised a way to incorporate
the beauty of the surroundings into the ceremony by substituting
the missing flowers with conch shells.
The Dress: Solange Knowles chose a strapless white gown
with a flared hemline and carried a small bouquet of baby's
breath and pink roses. The groom opted for a three-quarter length
tuxedo jacket and a pink rose and baby's breath boutonniere
which mirrored the bride's bouquet as well as the hue of the
bridesmaid's gowns.
The Reception: Twenty-five relatives and close friends,
including sister Beyonce's beau Jay-Z, enjoyed a steak dinner
and triple-layered wedding cake.
