Lauren Sanchez Marries in Star-Studded Event

Lauren Sanchez, the presenter on FOX television's "So You Think You Can Dance," felt like dancing herself on August 20, 2005 as she became the wife of top Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell in the most talked about Tinseltown event of the season.

Several of today's A-list celebrities, including newlyweds Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, Matt Damon, Jessica Alba, and Hugh Jackman were among the 250 guests who witnessed the reported two million dollar ceremony at The Bacara Resort and Spa, the Santa Barbara sanctuary chosen by "Meet The Barkers" Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler, "Baywatch" star Yasmine Bleeth and "Dancing With The Stars" first runner up John O'Hurley for their nuptials.

After a brief South Pacific getaway, the bride will be busy writing thank you notes for the presents the couple received from their wedding registries at Crate and Barrel, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn and Barneys New York, where the pair's requests ranged from a $32 linen napkin to a $900 Plata Lappas silverplate tray.
