Who: singer/actress Jennifer Lopez and salsa singer Marc Anthony

When: June 5, 2004

Where: The service was held on the grounds of Jennifer's Beverly Hills estate

The ceremony: Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony first joined forces on a heart-rending ballad which dominated the Latin airwaves throughout the summer of 1999-- "No Me Ames" ("Don't Love Me"). But even though other romances lingered on the horizon for the duo, their feelings could not be denied forever and finally culminated in an intimate ceremony at Jennifer's opulent LA residence. Forty family and friends watched as the bride, sheltered from the late afternoon sun beneath an elegant white parasol, made her way down a carpet of pastel-colored petals to her intended, who waited for her under a flower-bedecked bridal arch.

The dress: A vision in an ivory lace gown from the spring 2005 Vera Wang collection, the bride was adorned in true diva fashion with an array of diamonds. Even the white umbrella carried by the singer could not deflect the sun's light from dancing off of the estimated $7 million worth of gems on the necklace, bracelet and earrings provided by famed jeweler Neil Lane.  A three-quarter length veil was fastened by diamond hair clips to the bride's brunette tresses, worn in an upswept do and gathered into a crown of loose curls by Jennifer's favorite stylist, Oribe. The groom, as though wanting to symbolize a new beginning, also opted for an all-white ensemble by Armani for the nuptials, and harmonized with his bride's accessories by wearing diamond cufflinks.

The reception: Music is a driving force for the two singing sensations, and a variety of styles were chosen to interprete the mood of the special day. The sophisticated strains of Vivaldi's Four Seasons represented the reverence felt during the ceremony, while big band and salsa musically demonstrated their joy throughout the reception. Guests watched as pink, blue and white balloons were released into the Southern California sky before dining on Cuban-style cuisine from the bride's own restaurant, Madre's.
