The Ceremony: Although the pair had first laid eyes on each other years before, sparks flew between the "Goonies" actor and the Oscar-nominated actress in 2002 after a reintroduction by the latest addition to the Brolin clan, Barbra Streisand. A traditional proposal on bended knee at dawn on the fourth of July in 2003 culminated in a sunset service conducted by a longtime friend, the well-known TV and movie actor Anthony Zerbe. Family was the keyword for the intimate affair, and the bride and groom symbolized the linking of two households with the inclusion of their children from former unions into the wedding party. Held on the groom's estate, the couple encouraged their sixty guests to add to the relaxed atmosphere by bringing along their canine companions.

The Dress: Along with her matron of honor, actress Elizabeth Perkins, the barefoot bride walked down a dusty path toward her intended in a simple white frock which melded with the rustic surroundings.
