Dayna Devon Marries at Winery

Who: Dayna Devon, hostess of TV's "Extra" and Dr. Brent Moelleken (seen on ABC's "Extreme Makeover")

When: Vows were exchanged on April 19, 2005, the groom's birthday.

Where: The couple declared their devotion in an outdoor ceremony held at the Hans Fahden Winery, a 100-acre property in Calistoga, California.

The Proposal: The renowned Beverly Hills plastic surgeon chose the Le Dome restaurant on Sunset Boulevard, for years the place to see and be seen in Hollywood, as a fitting locale to pop the question to the entertainment reporter.

The Ceremony: A gentle spring breeze stirred the white fabric which lanquidly draped over the arbor sheltering the bride and groom as they pledged their love to one another in the presence of 85 witnesses, who watched the proceedings from chairs positioned in a garden graced with vivid purple and gold blossoms. At the conclusion of the service, a shower of rose petals rained down on the happy couple as they walked hand in hand up the white silk duponi aisle as husband and wife.

The Dress: The bride's svelte physique was showcased in a form-fitting Mark Zunino creation with a daring bodice fashioned of antique Italian lace which merged with a streamlined ivory jersey skirt.

The groom looked dashing in a black Georgio Armani tuxedo, embellished with a small calla lilly boutonniere in order to harmonize with the bride's bouquet, which consisted of white roses, Dutch hybrid hydrangeas and miniature Dutch calla lillies. (In a touching show of support for American soldiers far from home, Dayna tied a yellow ribbon around the Austrian crystal-studded handle of her nosegay.)

The Reception: The clink of glasses brimming with the vineyard's house wine echoed inside a volcanic ash cave, the carved out walls veiled for the evening with a light-colored silk material, upon which candlelight from carriage lanterns and a multitude of votives danced. Guests dined on beef tenderloin and Pacific halibut before making their way to a wisteria-covered teahouse to enjoy the music of Little Sister and nibble on a four-tier wedding cake garnished with icing which mirrored the delicate lace on the bride's gown.
