September 2005--Cycling champion Lance Armstrong not only achieved his seventh Tour de France victory this past summer, he also won the heart of Sheryl Crow, asking the rocker to be his bride on August 31, 2005 during a romantic mountain-biking holiday in Sun Valley, Idaho. In a touching gesture, the groom-to-be discussed his intentions with his children prior to the proposal. The couple, who have been an item since October 2003, are thinking of starting their new life together as husband and wife in the spring of 2006, although plans have yet to be finalized.
