Ohio Marriage Licenses

Paperwork: Bring along the following paperwork (and airline travelers, take note: be sure to pack this documentation in your carry-on bags, not in your checked luggage!)

* drivers license, visa, passport, or state-issued ID (if you are under age 21, you will need a certified birth certificate as well)

* Social Security numbers

* certified copy of divorce decree, if applicable

* copy of death certificate, if widowed

Residency Requirement: You do not have to be a resident of Ohio to be married in the state; you will need to apply for your license in the county where you will be married.
