New York Marriage Licenses

Paperwork: Bring along the following documentation to obtain your marriage license (airline travelers, take note: put this paperwork in your carry-on bags, not your checked luggage!)
•  Valid Driver's License
•  Valid passport
•  A certified copy of a birth certificate.
•  A school record
•  A naturalization record or court record
•  A baptismal record
•  A life insurance policy
•  An employment certificate
•  An immigration record
• a certified copy of divorce decree, if applicable, may be required

Residency Requirement: None; although you may only obtian a marriage license if your union would be legal in your own state.

Blood Tests: None
