New Mexico Marriage Licenses

 

Paperwork: Be sure to bring the following materials with you in your hand luggage (never in your checked bags, airline travelers!)

• legal photo ID such as driver's license or state-issued ID or a birth certificate

• your Social Security numbers

Residency Requirement: No; you do not need to be a New Mexico resident to be married in the state. You may obtain a license in any county and be married anywhere in the state you choose.

Waiting Period: None

Blood tests: none

Witnesses: Two witnesses will need to sign your marriage license.
