Louisiana Marriage Regulations

Applications and/or Documents Required: Bring along original copies of the following (and be sure pack these in your hand luggage, never in your checked bags):

• Photo ID (such as a driver's license or passport)
  
• Certified copies of your birth certificates
  
• Social Security cards
  
• You should both also know your parents’ full names and your mothers’ maiden name
  
• If previously married, you will need to show certified proof of how the marriage ended (a divorce judgment or a death certificate).
  

Residency Requirements: none

Waiting Period: 72 hours

Blood Test: none
