Kansas Marriage Regulations

Applications and/or Documents Required: Bring along original copies of the following (and be sure pack these in your hand luggage, never in your checked bags):

• certified birth certificate

• information on the following: your birth information, your parents' full names, your parents' birth information (state, country), your highest level of education, race

• must declare previous marriage if applicable and how marriage ended (death, divorce, annulment)

Residency Requirements: none

Waiting Period: three business days

Blood Test: None.

Solemnizing Your Own Marriage: The two of you may solemnize your own marriage; you will need a marriage license but you don't need an officiant.
