Illinois Marriage Regulations

Applications and/or Documents Required: Bring along original copies of the following (and be sure pack these in your hand luggage, never in your checked bags):

• identification: valid US driver's license, valid US passport, valid US military ID, valid US state ID card, valid Illinois state card from Dept. of Public Aid

• If you do not have one of the above forms of ID, you'll need TWO of the following forms of ID: certified birth certificate, US resident alien card, US naturalization papers, valid foreign passport, consulate ID card, baptismal certificate (with date of birth), life insurance policy in effect at least one year (must include applicant's birth date)

Residency Requirements: none

Waiting Period: one day

Blood Test: No blood test is required.
