Florida Marriage Regulations Applications and/or Documents Required: Bring along original copies of the following (and be sure pack these in your hand luggage, never in your checked bags): valid driver's license or birth certificate Social Security card certified copy of divorce decree, if divorced within the last month. All divorcees must provide date of divorce. In case of death, must provide date of death of previous spouse. Residency Requirements: none Waiting Period: none for nonresidents. If you live in Florida, you may have the waiting period waived (and receive a discount on the license, by taking a state premarital class.)
