Alaska Marriage Regulations

The state may be cool but couples get a warm reception when it comes to weddings. Non-residents can get married here within just a few days.

Applications and/or Documents Required: Bring along original copies of the following (and be sure pack these in your hand luggage, never in your checked bags):

• photo id

• you will need your application witnessed by a notary public if it was not presented to the office in person

• copy of divorce decree, if you were divorced within the past two months

Residency Requirements: none

Waiting Period: three days

Blood Test: No blood test is required.
