How to Get Married in Fiji

Applications and/or Documents Required: Bring along original copies of the following (and be sure pack these in your hand luggage, never in your checked bags):

Passport

Certified copy of birth certificate

If previously married, a certified copy of the final divorce decree or death certificate of former spouse

A declaration signed by a Justice of Peace or Notary Public as proof of current marital status

Waiting Period: paperwork processing usually takes about one working day
