Wedding Regulations:
How to Get Married in Anguilla

Weddings in Anguilla are easy to arrange, thanks to local laws. Many resorts have on-site wedding coordinators to help with every detail from paperwork to photography and you'll also find independent wedding planners who can assist with the details.

Applications and/or Documents Required: Bring along original copies of the following (and be sure pack these in your hand luggage, never in your checked bags):

proof of citizenship (a valid passport or an official birth certificate with photo ID

If either of you have been previously married, you’ll need to show proof of divorce or death with official documents.

Waiting Period: 48 hours

Cost: The marriage license fee is US$284. If you can extend your stay in Anguilla (maybe take your honeymoon before the ceremony!), the cost of a marriage license for visitors who have been on the island for 15 days or more is just US$40.

Witnesses: Two witnesses are required.

Blood Test: No blood test is required.

For more information: See the official Anguilla website, www.anguilla-vacation.com/
