Located 16 miles northwest of downtown, this 250-acre park is the largest marine-life adventure park in the world. Displays and shows featuring orcas, dolphins, seals, and otters partner with an enjoyable water park. The star of Sea World is Shamu, the 2-1/2-ton orca who engages in graceful swimming exercises with his human partners. There's room for 4,500 onlookers in this stadium, and most of the seats are safe from the huge splashes that Shamu produces as he leaps and dives in his seven-million-gallon tank. Nearby an impressive 300,000-gallon coral reef display contains the world's largest collection of Indo-Pacific coral reef fishes in a simulated coral reef environment.

Sea World is also home to numerous theme park rides including two roller coasters as well as cool water rides. Dozens of shows and rides keep travelers happy and are the perfect place for the two of you to feel like kids again. Lost Lagoon water park is one of the park's most popular spots on hot summer days.
