For the ideal wedding, Kanantik Reef & Jungle Resort will arrange the photographer, minister, florist and even prepare a tropical wedding cake. Marriage requirements in Belize are simple. There is a 3-day waiting period with only one day of notice needed. Proof of citizenship and proof of divorce or death certificate are required, and only two witnesses are needed at the ceremony.

The spacious cabañas, with a king or two full beds, each have wide open decks with custom-made lounge chairs perfect for reading, relaxing and enjoying the sights and sounds of Belize.  In addition to more than 300-acres of private land and a 1,300-foot white-sand beach, Kanantik provides guests with a private airstrip. Guests can fly personal planes to the resort or hire a charter from Belize City.  Regular flights are available from Belize City to Dangriga on Tropic or Maya Island Air, where guests will be met by a Kanantik driver.

Rates include all meals, activities, hotel and service taxes. Activities include dive and snorkeling excursions, daily guided birding, hiking, kayaking and Mayan ruin tours, horseback riding trips and sailing adventures on any of the three Hobie Cats. Wedding arrangements are available at an additional charge.
