Arline Chandler Arline Chandler left a teaching career to launch full-time into writing. RV travel fits hands-on-keyboard with discovering people and places for articles in Workamper News, Vocational Biographies, Highways to Adventure, and other entertainment, travel, and senior adult publications. In addition to numerous awards, the Ozarks Writers League presented Chandler with the 1995 Dan Saults Award. At conferences, Chandler speaks on jobs available to RVers as they travel. Road Work: The Ultimate RVing Adventure, her book published in 1997, covers the same subject. She also offers classes on aspects of writing gleaned from writing courses, workshops, and her own experiences in the writing field. Additionally, she presents two classes on caring for elderly loved ones, aimed at the "sandwich generation," who are often caring for both children and aging parents. Her newest book, When Heads & Hearts Collide, is her personal experience in caring for her aging parents. An instructor for five years at the Annual Life On Wheels RV Conference at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Chandler is a speaker at regional Life On Wheels Conferences. Chandler's work is published regularly in Workamper News, Branson's Review; The Ozarks Mountaineer, Coast to Coast Magazine, and Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. She has additional bylines in Country America, Modern Maturity, Successful Retirement, Mature Living, ActiveTimes, Figurines & Collectibles, Home Life, Country Woman, Trail Blazer, Motorhome, and Vocational Biographies.
