Jagged peaks wear a drape of velvety tropical greenery
on this tropical isle that defines tropical beauty. The two of you will
find numerous all-inclusives here including several for couples only.
Club

is filled with fun for couples in love. Spread out across 65 acres,
the resort includes Hummingbird Village, a romantic village
thats designed for lovers with hammocks for two, secluded Jacuzzis,
and rooms that feature four-poster beds and upgraded bathrooms.
The property offers wedding packages ($$ and up) that

certificate, organizing the services of a priest, bridal bouquet, boutonnière,
wedding cake, two bottles of sparkling wine at the reception, a decorated

areas. The beachfront resort also is home to the Royal Spa, a fine dining
restaurant, seaview restaurant, poolside eatery, and limited room service.

Sandals
Regency St. Lucia Golf Resort and Spa
Formerly the Hyatt, this elegant resort recently became one of the newest
members of the expanding chain of Sandals resorts. Located on the narrow
strip of land that connects Pigeon Island with the mainland, this property
includes lagoon rooms with swim-up verandahs, a spa, golf, tennis, and
more in an all-inclusive package. Check with Sandals for the latest
on this new property which offers destination weddings right on site.
Guests at the Sandals resorts are free to hop a free shuttle and play
or dine at any of the other two Sandals nearby.
Sandals
Grande St. Lucia Spa and Beach Resort
For lovers seeking around-the-clock action, Sandals Grande St. Lucia
is a veritable honeycomb of all-inclusive activity. From the bars and
billiards room in its elegant lobby to the tennis, golf, spa and watersports
offerings, guests have plenty of fun from which to choose. A few years
ago, the resort opened a $15 million expansion with which includes 56
Sunset Bluff one-bedroom and villa suites. Each suite includes Suite
Concierge Service with preferred check-in, a four poster mahogany bed
and fully stocked bar; the villa suites include private plunge pools
for the ultimate in private swimming.
This resort offers couples fun around the clock: bars
and billiards, tennis and golf, watersports and landsports. The two
of you can also opt to lounge by the freeform pools; theres no
pressure to participate in activities. The pool, which Sandals says
is the largest in the Caribbean, includes a waterfall, bridges, and,
of course, a swim-up bar where the two of you can order frozen and frothy
concoctions.
Youll find several romantic restaurants on the property. We especially
like La Toc, a French restaurant with a wine and sparkling wine list
and white glove service. And when youre ready to branch out, theres
a free shuttle to take you over to Sandals Halcyon (below) for more
options.Like other Sandals properties, this resort offers the WeddingMoon
package.
Sandals
Halcyon Golf Resort and Spa
There are three Sandals resorts on St. Lucia; Halcyon is the quiet cousin,
with rooms nestled in one- and two-story buildings, most outlined in
trailing vines and fragrant tropical plants. Beautiful grounds offer
couples plenty of quiet, shady nooks for time together.
This Sandals has the highest percentage of European guests
within the popular chain, so the mood here is somewhat more reserved
than at some Sandals hotels. Youll still find basketball in the
pool and volleyball at the beach, plus plenty of other activity thanks
to those enthusiastic Playmakers, but couples who want to do nothing
at all will feel right at home here as well. Halcyon guests are also
a more adventurous group than at many properties; most book several
off-property excursions during their stay. The tour desk can set up
jeep tours to the rain forest, bus tours to the volcano, and catamaran
excursions that trace St. Lucias beautiful western shore.
Two specialty restaurants give Sandals guests a break
from the main dining room; our favorite is The Pier. Built on a pier
perched over the sea, this open-air eatery serves seafood in an elegant
atmosphere. Every room at Sandals Halcyon is identical; the only difference
in category and price comes from the room view. Plus, you can always
take the free shuttle over to Sandals St. Lucia for an evening out.
(Be sure to make dinner reservations with the guest services desk.)
Like other Sandals properties, Halcyon offers the WeddingMoon
package.
