How would you describe your most romantic room?

Our most romantic property is our Cabin #12 (right). Highly rated by our guests for honeymoons and romantic weekend getaways, this one-bedroom, one-bath "Enchanted Cottage" features a queen sized bed in the bedroom plus a double hide-a-bed in the living room. A large double shower is accessible from either the bedroom or the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped including a full sized range/oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and standard cookware/utensils to accommodate up to four-persons. Other features include a washer/dryer, telephone (with free local calls), VCR/monitor, and a freestanding gas stove in the living room for ambience, plus electric heat. Of course, all bed and bath linens are provided.

The big feature is a private outdoor hot tub that will accommodate up to four persons. This quiet cottage is located in Glacier, Washington, at the magnifient gateway to the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest and the adjacent Mount Baker Ski Area.

What the best time of year to visit your property?

Summer & winter activities abound including great hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, fishing (lake and river), whitewater rafting/kayaking, skiing (downhill and cross-country), snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, fantastic photography, and lots of solitude...all in Mount Baker's beautiful splendor! If you like the outdoors, this is it!! Local countywide festivals include the World-Of-Wood Festival in Maple Falls, The Ski To Sea Festival that begins at Mount Baker and ends in Bellingham, the Mount Baker Blues Festival in Deming, the Skywater Festival in Blaine, the Northwest Washington Fair in Lynden, and the Highland Games in Ferndale. All of which are less than an hour drive from any Mount Baker Lodging vacation property.

What are some of the most unique aspects of Mount Baker Lodging?
