This impressive property is the answer to all those couples who enjoyed a vacation at Sandals but then wanted to take the kids back the next time. Part of the Sandals family, Beaches brings the all-inclusive fun those couples-only resorts are known for to families, singles, and couples. Here, kids under 2 stay free, and there are child rates for kids from 2-15.

Beaches is perched on Negril’s famous Seven Mile Beach and offers something for everyone. Four swimming pools, a sports complex with tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, watersports, you name it, it’s here. Kids have a full Kids Camp with age appropriate activities. Young travelers especially enjoy the Xbox Game Oasis Center; play’s unlimited and free!

Dining is arranged so families can enjoy time together and apart. Two gourmet restaurants are for adults only while children especially enjoy a pasta bar with brick oven pizza and a Beach Grill, exclusively for kids between 5pm and 9pm.

The latest addition to this resort is the Pirates Island Water Park, an 18,000-square-foot park smack dab in the middle of the resort and definitely one of the most popular aspects of the property with the younger set. (Actually, it’s pretty popular with the older set as well.) The park has water slides, water cannons, a misting pool and a lazy river.

Beaches and Sesame Street also have an exclusive arrangement; be on the lookout for Sesame Street characters during your stay. Elmo, Cookie Monster, Grover and Zoe appear in costume throughout the resort. There’s even a story hour with Elmo featuring Caribbean stories, nature walks with Grover, dancing with Zoe, and more. For an extra fee, you can even set up a birthday party for your child with special appearances by the characters.
